No, it’s the way he chose to react to Homestuck and the fandom (i.e. taking it as having RUUNED his LIEF 5EVARRRRRRRR OMG OMG OMG OGGMMM) that ruined his life. The comic and fans kind of inconvenienced him somewhat.
